Ms. Terri was a true gem in helping me find my first home. Initially I did not know what type of loan I had, whether it was FHA or conventional. So when I first started looking I was looking at FHA approved only properties when my loan was actually conventional. Terri took initiative and contacted my loan officer and found out this information for me. I had never looked for a property to buy before and she has made this whole journey one to remember. Never settling for just any property and getting me everything I wanted. Her principals on not just selling me a house was one I appreciate very much. Terri is the realtor to choose when buying or selling your home. She went above and beyond past realtor experiences that we have had in selling or buying our home. I could contact her anytime and would not have to wait long for a response from her. She even called me a couple of times when she was out showing other clients homes! She is very professional, knows the real estate market and is a great negotiator.

Terri helped me with a very difficult closing to get me the home I wanted. She negotiated with my lender and negotiated a closing cost I was comfortable with.

Despite this tragic pandemic of Covid-19, Terri was still willing to gear up with the necessary protection and go out to search for homes with me. This did not hold her back from allowing me to view homes I was interested in and even some that she thought would be a great fit for me. If she was familiar with any of the areas we were looking in, she would tell me what all essentials were nearby. We submitted several offers and Terri was excellent in her communication; following up (if needed) and corresponding on the status of each one. She gave great advice on how to be competitive when submitting offers; such as whether to ask or not ask for closing cost and how much over or under to go from the asking price based on the comps. Especially at times when we knew from the listing agents that there were already a lot of offers submitted for a particular property. After about three weeks of searching and submitting offers, I finally had an offer accepted on a lovely ranch style home located in Fairburn, Ga! I was so excited as this would be my very first home! After getting past the due diligence period (and even during), Terri was very awesome at answering any questions I had about the buying process. She also negotiated excellently with the listing agent about the inspection results and was able to get the seller to repair everything I wanted to have done. She also got the seller to pay for my first year of home warranty! The company she represents also offers a concierge service (no charge) to help assist you with setting up various essentials such as power, gas, utilities, internet, alarm system, etc. After closing, she even went above and beyond and gave me a list of handymen that she recommended for paint, locksmith, flooring, etc. for future use. My boyfriend and I were in the market for a home and while doing research on home buying, I stumbled across Terri's profile on realtor.com. I read her bio and was sold. From the very first call to the very last call Terri was a fountain of knowledge and a big help when it came to all the different steps of home buying. This was our first time buying a home and she recommended a first time home buyers course which was very informative and helped to alleviate a lot of the stress that we were experiencing. Once the course was completed Terri set up meetings with a variety of lenders that were knowledgeable and communicated well. Once we got pre-approval, Terri set up a listing of homes in our budget with the wish list of things we wanted. Within a day we found the home we wanted and the process to close was very easy. Terri had a good bit of resources to help us from finding an inspector to the concierge service to help us with utilities, home security and home lawn maintenance.
